Mr Niyi Tayo

Niyi Tayo is a Managing Director, Andersen consulting (formerly Verraki) and a business and technology transformation leader with over three decades of experience helping organisations leverage technology, innovation and operational excellence to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.

An engineer by training and transformation leader by practice, Niyi has extensive experience architecting and delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives, with expertise spanning enterprise and technology transformation, enterprise architecture, IT programme management, process innovation, solution architecture, capital project management, quality assurance and production asset performance management.

He previously served as Managing Director, Technology at Accenture Nigeria, where he led large-scale technology transformation programmes across Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, and other sectors. He also led major Upstream Industry businesses, delivering business advisory and technology solutions to Oil & Gas organisations across Spain, Portugal, Africa, and Israel.

In his capacity as Managing Director at Andersen consulting, Niyi has led the Technology service line and has held leadership responsibility across the Oil & Gas and Telecommunications industries. His experience enables him to bring together the perspectives of the technology function, business leadership and industry operations, helping organisations translate technology investments into improved performance, resilience, and sustainable growth.

Before entering management consulting, Niyi worked as an Operations Engineer with an oil service and consultancy company, where he gained hands-on experience in oil well instrumentation and facilities engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA in Information Management from the University of Hull, UK.
