Engr. (Mrs.) Elozino Olaniyan, FNSE, FNSChE, FINSafetyE

Engr. (Mrs.) Elozino Olaniyan is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Midwestern Oil & Gas Limited. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and has built a distinguished career spanning over three decades, anchored on professionalism, technical excellence, and strategic leadership. Her career in the Nigerian oil and gas industry cuts across the entire value chain, from technical roles in subsurface operations and production optimization to senior managerial and executive positions in Commercial, Safety, and Environment functions. Prior to her appointment as MD/CEO of Midwestern Oil & Gas Limited, she served as General Manager, Safety & Environment at Shell Nigeria and subsequently at Renaissance Africa Energy Limited. Elo, as she prefers to be called, remains deeply committed to the efficient delivery of corporate goals, value realization, and people development. She is a visionary and empathetic leader with a strong passion for coaching and mentoring the next generation of engineers. Engr. Olaniyan is a member of several professional bodies, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). She is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (FNSChE), and the Nigerian Institute of Safety Engineers (FINSafetyE). She is married to Engr. Femi Olaniyan, FNSE, and they are blessed with three wonderful children.
